About us

SCANBRAIN LTD is a private organization aim to organize annual International Invention and Innovation Competition titled ''BEST INVENTOR GHANA (BIG)'' This well crafted and brainy idea was initiated by a Ghanaian Mathematician, SAMUEL DARKO, to inspire the youth to create their own jobs in order to combat unemployment challenges in Ghana and the world as a whole. SAMUEL started this in the local communities in 2015. In 2020, structures were set up to start showing this interesting program on the national television. Unfortunately, it was shot down by the COVID-19 Pandemic. In the next very year, 2021, the first formal Best Inventor Ghana (BIG) Competition was held in Accra, Ghana and was aired on ATV/GNTV every Sunday for sixteen weeks to create awareness of the program. In 2022, BIG Competition took place again in Accra, Ghana and was aired on ONE-HD TV every Saturday for four weeks. BIG has gained international recognition and has come to stay.

BEST INVENTOR GHANA (BIG) Competition is an annual International Invention and Innovation Competition organize in Accra, Ghana, There is no age, gender, educational or language barrier. Everybody qualifies to participate. This program seeks to unearth the invention potentials and capabilities of the youth by encouraging them to make good use of every available material resource around them to create anything of their own and by so doing, they will create jobs for themselves and this will reduce unemployment challenges in Ghana and the world at large.

MISSION: Our mission is to inspire the youth to make good                    use of every available material resource around                      them to create anything of their choice and                              participate in our annual International INVENTION                  and INNOVATION competition.
                   
VISION: Our vision is to create a world with INVENTION as                    the center and where the youth will love to become                SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY celebrities.
